I feel incredibly fortunate to have been commissioned by a variety of amazing clients, allowing me to create a diverse array of artwork in both subject and style. Collaborating with each client has enabled me to craft unique pieces that perfectly complement their homes. From floral designs to abstract forms, and from coastal scenes to rustic country landscapes, I’ve created art for bedrooms, living spaces, and entryways. Something that works with your own taste, your home requirements and transferable to your next abode. Not easy.I first found Tracey via her website, mindful I was looking for an Australian artist and have a long held a soft spot for the far NSW coast. First it was the colour combination in Tracey’s work that attracted my eye. I approached Tracey, first by email and later a visit to her gallery and more recent phone and video communication modes required. Choosing the right combination of colours and style was difficult, as I was ‘making do’ with furniture not specifically easy and room dimensions exceptionally difficult. Tracey has a large portfolio of previous works and on the very last page I found a painting I loved.Speaking with Tracey she agreed and accepted, a commissioning of the Artwork – the magnificent works commenced. The African Fusion had started. I felt it was like a birthing process, Tracey would send regular videos of the work as it progressed agreeing to colour and content, adjusting and ensuring we were both happy with the progress. Finally it was finished, packed and posted with great care. We were both anxiously awaiting the paintings arrival – The diptych arrived safe and sound.The art was hung by professionals in Brisbane, with guidance from Tracey over phone. The whole progress has been professional. Tracey listened to her clients’ needs and expectations- offered her learned advice in a gentle but serene manner.
